Eco Friendly Small Sand Dollar Pendant.
This pendant has been individually handcrafted in Croyde, North Devon, from 'Silver Clay', a wonderful material made of tiny silver particles that have been recycled from the waste of the silver industry, which when fired become 99.99% pure solid silver.
The shape of the sand dollar has been captured using a mould of a real, ethically sourced sand dollar skeleton.
It measures 1.4cm tall including the ring and 1.1cm across at its widest point.
The Pendant is available either as a pendant alone, or strung on your choice of Sterling Silver Chain. It will arrive with you in a Recycled Wild Silver Jewellery box, safely packaged in 100% recycled, plastic free packaging.
Also pictured are the matching earrings which are available on my website.
Sand Dollars are very fragile little sea creatures that can withstand very harsh sea conditions, they teach us to adapt to change and remind us of our inner strength. The five pointed star in the centre of the skeleton represents the five elements of earth, air, water, fire and spirit, and to wear a sand dollar helps us to balance these elements. Some also say that they are the lost coins of mermaids!
I plant a tree for every order placed!
