Eco Friendly Small Acorn Pendant.
This pendant has been individually handcrafted in Croyde, North Devon, from 'Silver Clay', a wonderful material made of tiny silver particles that have been recycled from the waste of the silver industry, which when fired become 99.99% pure solid silver.
The beautiful shape of the acorn has been captured and replicated in silver using a mould of a real acorn I found in Ireland. It measures 1.5cm long including the ring and 0.8cm wide, and is available either as a pendant alone, or strung on your choice of Sterling Silver Chain. It will arrive with you in a Recycled Wild Silver Jewellery box, safely packaged in 100% recycled, plastic free packaging.
The acorn symbolises potential and strength, and was the Nordic and Celtic symbol of fertility and immortality.
The last two photo's are the three available sizes and the matching earrings, all available in my shop.
I plant a tree for every order placed!
Please have a look at my ‘about’ pages for more details on silver clay and the processes involved in making each piece, as well as the Wild Silver Jewellery 'story' and the steps I take to minimise my environmental impact throughout jewellery making and distribution.
