Eco Friendly Scallop Shell Stud Earrings

Handcrafted in Croyde, North Devon, from 'Silver Clay', a wonderful material made of tiny silver particles that have been recycled from the waste of the silver industry, which when fired become 99.99% pure solid silver.

The shells have been cast from a tiny little scallop shell that I found on Croyde Beach, in North Devon, so they are perfect little replicas of the original shell. They measure 0.8cm tall and 0.7cm wide, are securely soldered to sterling silver ear posts and sold with sterling silver butterfly backs. They will arrive with you in a Recycled Wild Silver Jewellery box, safely packaged in 100% recycled, plastic free packaging.

Seashells represent prosperity, abundance, and good fortune, and have long been an important symbol in many religions. Wearing a seashell helps to connect to the ocean and the water element, which represents our emotions, thus helping us to balance them and bring healing into our lives.

I plant a tree for every order placed!

Please have a look at my ‘about’ pages for more details on silver clay and the processes involved in making each piece, as well as the Wild Silver Jewellery 'story' and the steps I take to minimise my environmental impact throughout jewellery making and distribution.
