Recycled Silver Cockle Shell Earrings.
These Cockle Shell earrings have been individually handcrafted in Croyde, North Devon, from 'Silver Clay', a wonderful material made of tiny silver particles that have been recycled from the waste of the silver industry, which when fired become 99.99% pure solid silver.
The shape of these little cockle shells have been captured using a mould of a real shell I found on Croyde beach in North Devon,
The shells measure 1.2cm long and 1.2cm wide and hang from handmade sterling silver ear wires made from recycled silver. They will arrive with you in a Recycled Wild Silver Jewellery box, safely packaged in 100% recycled, plastic free packaging.
The last photo's are the matching pendants which are also available on my website.
Seashells represent prosperity, abundance, and good fortune, and have long been an important symbol in many religions. Wearing a seashell helps to connect to the ocean and the water element, which represents our emotions, thus helping us to balance them and bring healing into our lives.
I plant a tree for every order placed!
Please have a look at my ‘about’ pages for more details on silver clay and the processes involved in making each piece, as well as the Wild Silver Jewellery 'story' and the steps I take to minimise my environmental impact throughout jewellery making and distribution.
