Eco Friendly Silver Acorn Earrings.

These acorn earrings have been individually handcrafted in Croyde, North Devon, from 'Silver Clay', a wonderful material made of tiny silver particles that have been recycled from the waste of the silver industry, which when fired become 99.99% pure solid silver.

The shape of this perfect little acorn has been achieved using a mould of a real acorn I found in Ireland.

Each acorn is 1cm long (not including the ring) and 0.7cm across the widest point. They hang from handmade sterling silver ear wires made from recycled silver, and will arrive with you in a Recycled Wild Silver Jewellery box, safely packaged in 100% recycled, plastic free packaging.

The acorn symbolises potential and strength, and was the Nordic and Celtic symbol of fertility and immortality.

The last photo is the matching pendants which are also available on my website.

I plant a tree for every order placed!

Please have a look at my ‘about’ page for more details on silver clay and the processes involved in making each piece, as well as the Wild Silver Jewellery 'story' and the steps I take to minimise my environmental impact throughout jewellery making and distribution.
